The consumer society created in the form of a consumer cooperative is a legal entity and has the following powers:
to engage in activities aimed at meeting the needs of shareholders.
to carry out entrepreneurial activity so far as it serves the purposes for which it was created;
have their offices, branches, to create economic companies, institutions and exercise their rights in the order established by the legislation of the Russian Federation;
to participate in economic societies, cooperatives, to be an investor in limited partnerships;
to create under this Law the foundations of consumer society;
to allocate the income between the shareholders in accordance with the Charter of consumer society;
to borrow from shareholders and other persons;
to implement the Charter in accordance with order lending and advancing of shareholders;
to carry out foreign economic activity in the order established by the legislation of the Russian Federation;
to appeal in court the decisions of state bodies and acts of local authorities, actions of their officials that violate the rights of the consumer society;
to exercise other rights of a legal entity required to achieve the objectives stipulated in the Charter of consumer society.
