The state system FOR the CONSUMER

1. State bodies and bodies of local self-government shall not interfere in the economic, financial and other activities of consumer societies and their unions, with the exception of cases provided by laws of the Russian Federation. The relationship of consumer societies, their unions and relevant bodies of Executive authority are governed by agreements, an integral part of which should be a list of organizations of consumer cooperative societies. Consumer companies and their unions are developing their own programs of economic and social development.
2. Acts of state bodies or acts of local governments that violate the rights of consumer societies, their unions, can be declared invalid in accordance with legislation of the Russian Federation.
3. Damages caused to the consumer societies, their unions as a result of illegal actions of state bodies, bodies of local self-government and their officials shall be compensated in accordance with legislation of the Russian Federation.
